My Makerbot “Thing-O-Matic” has shipped. I plan on documenting the build when it arrives. I’ll also be posting my successes and failures with 3D printing in the near future.
How much was it?
It looks like it’s retailing at $1,299 right now at the Makerbot store.

I ordered it before the price went up and I think I saved around $100. It’s not cheap but it’s a heck of a lot cheaper than the majority of 3D printers.
